Popular treatments for asian clients

In recent years, there has been an increase in the number non-invasive and non surgical facial treatments for the Asian face. From our experience at Rejuvenation Clinics of Australia, we have found our Asian patients desire a different aesthetic to our Western patients. There is a huge focus on facial balance and harmony, while maintaining ethnic integrity.

1. Injecting anti-wrinkle injections into the masseter muscle

This is one of our most common procedures at Rejuvenation Clinics of Australia. An anti-wrinkle injection is injected into each side of the face, into the masseter muscle, in order to give the jawline a softer contour, giving the face a slimmer look. Results can be seen within 2 weeks of the treatment.

2. Chin Augmentation

This is the same concept as injecting the wrinkle injection into the masseter, which gives the face a more oval shape. Dermal fillers are injected onto the chin to create this effect.

3. Fillers on Forehead

This treatment is more common from our Asian patients, than our Western patients. Quite often, we find our Asian patients want to make their temple hollows more full and rounded to contrast full upper cheeks. By combining dermal fillers to the forehead and temples with slimming the lower face, it gives the whole face a more angular or V-shaped appearance. We can very easily improve and change the appearance and shape of both the forehead and temples. This is one of the most common procedures requested.

The temples can be a risky area for dermal fillers if the treatment is not performed by a very experienced injecting doctor who can avoid and manage any potential problems.

4. ‘Apple’ Cheeks

Fillers on cheeks are also a common request, as many Asians patients who come to Rejuvenation Clinics of Australia often want to reduce the ‘flat and retrusive’ appearance on the front of the cheek. By bringing the cheeks forward using fillers, it creates an ‘apple cheeks’ look that our patients desire.

5. Nasal bridges and nose tips

Another common treatment requested by our Asian patients, is to lift the nasal bridge, creating a more projected nose. For this procedure, a topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the nose to numb the area, before the filler is injected. Results will take approximately 2 weeks, as there may be slight swelling after the treatment.

6. Medical grade facials and peels

Chemical peels are a non-surgical treatment that involves applying a chemical solution to the face, which can help improve the appearance of fine lines, acne scars, and sun damage. Chemical peels can be customised to suit different skin types and concerns.

7. Non Surgical Skin Tightening

Radiofrequency treatments, like RF needlingUltherapy and Ultraformer use energy waves to heat up the skin, stimulating collagen production and improving skin texture. This non-surgical treatment can help to tighten and firm the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Radiofrequency treatments can also be used to reduce the appearance of acne scars and hyperpigmentation.
