What is DNA skincare?

There has been a lot of hype recently in the dermatology and beauty industry around the topic of ‘DNA Skincare’ and the amazing benefits it’s promised to bring. But what exactly is DNA skincare?

DNA skincare DNA skincare includes a formulation of ‘active’ ingredients which can effectively repair some of the damage which has been caused by external aggravates such as the sun.

Lee Woods, Product Developer of SkinFit and Rejuvaus explains ‘these formulations are able to do so, by exhibiting specific and accurate levels of biologically active ingredients, such as Vitamin A and peptides. In effective doses, and effective combinations. These active ingredients work to resurrect healthy skin function. Vitamin A and biomimetic peptides are the key ingredients in DNA skincare.’

Vitamin A in the correct molecular structure has been clinically proven to stimulate the DNA and instigate physiological change to a damaged cell. This causes the next replication of the cell to be a more youthful version of its former damaged self, rebuilding collagen, reducing pigment and reversing scar tissue formation. Try Rejuvaus Repair & Refine ABC Serum as it has Encapsulated Retinaldehyde, one of the strongest non-irritating forms of Vitamin A.

Biomimetic Peptides are skin identical peptides with liposome delivery that works synergistically to reduce fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating the skins natural collagen, elastin and Hyaluronic Acid production.

How is it different to traditional moisturises?

Traditional moisturisers are mostly laden with thick fillers which often just coat the surface of the skin rather than penetrate the dermal layer. They also lack effective quantities of these active ingredients and often have potentially harmful ingredients such as Sulphates, lanolin, mineral oil, artificial colours, parabens, artificial fragrances, SLS and petrochemicals which can do more harm than good!

Where can I find DNA skincare?
