Fotona 4D is a 4 step, multimodality treatment for holistic rejuvenation of your full face, to tighten, brighten, lift and smooth your complexion for a more youthful appearance. It is primarily a skin tightening treatment, that also helps wrinkle reduction, especially wrinkles around the mouth, to shrink pores, improve skin texture, reduce blemishes and to provide a brighter skin. It is also a sagging skin treatment for the lower face using diferent settings on the laser for treatment of the cheeks from both inside and out.

Step 1 - Contract & stimulate
Step 1 treats smile lines and cheeks by directing the laser from inside the mouth to contract collagen fibres and stimulate collagen regeneration at every layer to reduce lines and promote youthful-looking, voluminous skin.
Step 2 - Strengthen & refine
Step 2 uses a unique handpiece to deliver energy pulses to deeper layers of the skin to strengthen capillaries and refine pores for a brighter, more even skin tone and smoother appearance.
Step 3 - Tighten & lift
Step 3 uses specialised settings to induce controlled heat in your face and neck. The heat contracts the collagen fibres and stimulates collagen regeneration to tighten, lift and strengthen your skin, restore youthful elasticity and reduce fine lines.

Step 1, also known as SmoothLiftin or SkinTight Duo targets nasolabial folds (smile lines) by directing the laser inside the mouth and to the external skin around the mouth, lips and cheeks to regenerate collagen at every layer.
Step 2, also known as Frac 3 or Deep Rejuvenation, delivers microsecond energy pulses into the skin to reduce imperfections. The energy helps to refine pores for improved skin texture and reduce dilated capillaries to reduce redness.
Step 3, also known as Fotona Piano or SkinTight, applies a controlled bulk heating to the deeper layers of the skin to contract the collagen fibres and stimulate collagen regeneration to tighten, lift and strengthen the skin for a more youthful appearance.
Step 4, also known as the Erbium Peel, provides gentle exfoliation and creates a micro healing response in the superficial layer of your skin. It reveals a healthy new layer of skin cells and a touchable softness.

The full treatment time is about 1 hour.
After your treatment course, your skin should feel softer, and you should have fewer blemishes, tighter-looking pores and a brighter, more even complexion. Your skin may look tighter as though it was given a subtle lift, and you should have more youthful, stronger elasticity.
Further skin tightening and brightening results will appear gradually over 2-3 months as collagen takes time to regenerate and rebuild itself, and your skin cells take time to turn over. Full results can be expected around 2-3 months after treatment.
Depending on the nature of your skin, it may be recommended that you return for occasional maintenance treatments. We can also recommend medical grade skincare products with anti-aging, exfoliating and pigment inhibiting properties to help you promote and prolong your results at home.

here is no downtime associated with this treatment and you can return to your regular activities right away. In some very rare cases, there may be some mild blistering inside the cheek, but this is not very common, and it heals normally within a few days.
You may have some mild redness immediately after treatment, but this can be covered with mineral makeup. We offer complimentary post-treatment makeup touch-ups with a trained makeup artist so you may continue with your day.
There may be some mild discomfort during the first step of this treatment, but it is generally well tolerated. The other steps are relatively comfortable. Most clients report a warming or tingling sensation on the skin.
A four-step treatment is $1,100 (from $1,000 in a package).
Fotona 4D involves four different modalities; two to tighten skin and two to improve surface texture and skin tone, so it’s like four different treatments in one.
Additionally, our other skin tightening treatments use ultrasound or radiofrequency energy while Fotona 4D uses laser energy. Ultrasound skin tightening can provide more powerful skin tightening results, but the benefit with Fotona 4D is that results can be seen sooner, and you benefit from improved surface texture and tone.
There is no prepping or aftercare required. We may recommend that you take extra caution with the sun for a few days following treatment.
