SmoothEye is a safe and effective laser treatment specially designed to rejuvenate delicate skin around the eyes. Improve elasticity and reduce the appearance of tired, ageing eyes with this advanced yet gentle treatment.
The laser gently ablates dead cells on the surface of the skin allowing newer cells to come through. The laser also induces controlled warming in the skin, which causes collagen fibres to contract for a lifted appearance, and it stimulates the fibroblast cells to rebuild damaged collagen to improve the skin’s appearance and elasticity.
We use a Fotona laser with the specific features and modalities for the peri-ocular area.
This treatment has a warm, sometimes tingling feeling that only lasts while the laser delivers pulses of energy. Minor discomfort can be managed with numbing cream and surface cooling, though the treatment often well tolerated.
You will see some initial improvement as the collagen fibres contract right away, but the full result will become apparent approximately four weeks after your course of treatment. This is because collagen, once it is stimulated, takes time to regenerate and rebuild.
You will probably need 3 treatments to see optimal results, but this can vary person to person.

The treatment itself is less than ten minutes, but there is an additional ten minutes of preparation time.
